Abstract

This chapter describes the overall pedagogical guidelines and methodologies that facilitate the teaching of open innovation in and outside the classroom. It offers guidelines for the development of an OI course or course module and suggestions how to imbed this in an educational programme. The authors describe
the main learning outcomes and the structure of the OI-Net Common Curricula Framework. This chapter also describes the preferred teachers’ skills, suitable teaching approaches and tools. Finally the authors offer teaching guidelines for specific levels of teaching.
