Abstract

Industry Specialist, Chief Expert in Engineering (CEE)-project
develops a new training package which prepares SMEs for special challenges and
opportunities in machine industry and product design set by new digital
manufacturing techniques like additive manufacturing and 3D printing.

The
project is implemented in collaboration of three educational organizations
aiming at creating and piloting an operation model and training concept based
on shared expertise. After adopting a sufficient theoretical basis, the
trainees perform assignments and development tasks related to the operating
environments of their own work places. In addition, the project supports
start-up activities and commercialization of special know-how of trainees.

The result

specialists, whom are not currently employed. The concept created in the
CEE-project can be used after the project for example educational training
