Laura Albareda – began doing research on the role of governments in Corporate Social Responsibility at ESADE Business School in the 1990s, where she was doctoral student and researcher of the Institute for Social Innovation. She then got a post-doc research position at Boston College Carroll School of Management where she also collaborate with Boston College Center for Corporate Citizenship. Her work focused then in sustainable business and governance, including collective action and polycentric governance, business sustainability, cross-sector collective action, sustainability-oriented innovation, value creation and sustainable business models. She is currently Associate Professor of Sustainable Business at LUT School of Business and Management in Finland. She has been visiting scholar at Amsterdam Business Schools, Boston University School of Business and Warwick University. Her works aims to expand the analysis of collective action and polycentric governance in business field, working in collaboration with business, public agencies and NGOs in Spain and Finland.
