Research Interest
Current research is mainly focused on optimization and modelling of heat exchangers. A particular focus is condensing heat exchangers of steam power plants, but also difficult optimization problems of various other plants, cycles and components.
Other interest are power plant process modelling, biomass pyrolysis (torrefaction and hydrothermal carbonisation) and process integration.
