Research Interest
Anssi Tarkiainen's research themes include sales management, consumer behaviour (online and offline). His research has been published in Computers in Human Behavior, European Journal of Marketing, Psychology & Marketing, Journal of Marketing Theory & Practice, and Journal of Business Research, among others.

His professional activities include serving as a reviewer, on an ad hoc basis, for journals such as European Journal of Marketing, International Marketing Review, Journal of Personal Selling & Sales Management, and British Food Journal. He is a member of the editorial board of British Food Journal.




Publications

Teaching Experience
Dr. Tarkiainen's teaching activities have focused on issues of sales management, international business strategies and statistics and quantitative research methods. He teaches courses at both Bachelor and Master’s levels. In addition he has been actively coordinating courses on Structural Equation Modelling in the Finnish Doctoral program in Business Studies (KATAJA). Previously, he has also been teaching Futures Studies.
