Biography
Sami Saarenketo is Dean and Professor of International Marketing at School of Business and Management, LUT University, Finland. Saarenketo is visiting professor at Mälardalen University, Sweden. For the last two years, he served as a Professor II at Trondheim Business School, NTNU, Norway. He has also worked as a visiting scholar at Scancor, Stanford University, US, and as a visiting professor at Skema Business School, France, Hochschule Kempten, Germany, and University of Liechtenstein.

Research Interest
Professor Saarenketo’s research covers topics related to International Marketing, International Entrepreneurship and Internationalization of the Firms, especially Born Globals and International New Ventures. Professor Saarenketo is the author of numerous scholarly articles, many of which have been published in leading scholarly journals, including Journal of World Business, Management International Review, International Business Review, International Marketing Review, Technovation, European Journal of Marketing, International Small Business Journal and Journal of International Entrepreneurship.
