Biography
Pia Lindh (M’04, S’17) born in Helsinki in 1969, received her M.Sc. degree in energy technology in 1998 and her D.Sc. degree in electrical engineering (Technology) in 2004 from Lappeenranta University of Technology (LUT), Lappeenranta, Finland. She is currently serving as an associate professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering in LUT Energy, Lappeenranta, where she is engaged in teaching and research of electric motors and electric drives.

Research Interest
She is engaged in teaching and research of electric motors and electric drives.
Her research work focuses on permanent magnet motors, especially concentrated winding machines and new cooling methods. Lately her several projects deal with mobile working machines or bus applications and other traction motors.

Teaching Experience
Dr. Lindh has participated the teaching activities of the Laboratory of Electrical Drives and Machines.
