Research Interest
The research of electrical motors aims to create an optimizing process, which aims to small volume and energy savings. The optimizing process includes electromagnetic part, understanding of loss distribution of the motor and the selected control method. Fractional-slot non-overlapping (Tooth-coil) wound permanent magnet synchronous machines are in great interest due to their possibilities to get biggest torque density. Biggest research area are the different traction applications, especially the hybrid working machines which need every now and then accelerate big amount of mass. This means that the machine must have big torque and on the other hand large speed area if higher driving speed is applied.
