Research Interest
Satu Pätäri acts as a Professor of Strategy Research, Sustainable Value Creation at LUT University, School of Business and Management. Her main research interests include analysing and explaining the sources of sustained competitive advantage at firm level and increasing understanding of new business opportunities and their value-creation potential.

Teaching Experience
Professor Pätäri has wide teaching experience mainly from the field of management accounting. Currently she teaches in courses 'Strategic management accounting' and 'Special Issues on Management Accounting'. She has supervised over 180 Master's theses and over 80 Bachelor's theses. She also acts as the Head of Master’s Degree Programme in Accounting at LUT University.
